EXCURSION 6. - ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE “VEGA
DE LA
PEÑA”.
Description: long walk or bicycle trip to visit the archaeological zone of the Filobobos
set, ceremonial center called "The Ruins of the Ancients", is located in the right margin of the Bobos river, is a wonderful
place full of beautiful landscapes and birds of tropical forest along of 5
kilometers starting from the Campamento Ecoturístico Rio Filobobos, the route is along the bed of the
river on a rolled way. These are ruins that were inhabited between 900 and 1500 d.C., count with one temple with a frontal
strip that represents the serpent of fire, game of ball, buildings with circular edges, several pyramids, courts, portable
altars, paintings polychromes, systems of baths and drainage. In front of the group, on the left side of the river, a beautiful
cascade is formed during the rains season.

EXCURSION 7. - CASCADE OF "EL ENCANTO" AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE “VEGA DE LA PEÑA”.
Description: Visit to the sites described in excursions 4 and 6.

EXCURSION 8. - GROTTO And UNDERGROUND RIVER.
Description: Transfer to the bridge of “El Filo” (the edge) for a long walk
of one hour throughout the margins of the Bobos river between the vegetation and planted of banana and coffee, to arrive at
the mouth of exit of an underground river that lodges a grotto which approximately 100 meters until a great vault that has stalactites and estalagmites of capricious forms enter
that intensify the imagination. In the entrance to the underground river there is a beach in which it is possible to swim,
as well as a puddle that the same exit conforms like a natural jacuzzi. The water of the underground river is tempered all
the year. Duration leaving

EXCURSION 9. – “CIENEGA DEL FUERTE” And BEACH
OF CASITAS.
Description: Visit to a beautiful marshy zone, introducing in boats of flat bottom impelled with a wood rod type of Xochimilco boats (trajineras), the route is by a network of narrow
channels single known by the fishermen of the zone, bordered by a dense vegetation and inhabited by a great variety of smaller
species like armadillos (dasypus), badgers, otters and diverse types of birds and water serpents; in the wide channels the
iris in flowering with white and violet tones is observed that form beautiful pictures painted by the nature. All a delight
for the lovers of the nature and the photography, the photos that can be obtained here are unique. After the stroll by marshes,
you can enjoy the beach of Casitas
(Small houses) of smooth sand and covered of vegetation, eating in some of the restaurants of the site.

EXCURSION 10. - MANGROVES And BEACH OF CASITAS.
Description: Visit to a beautiful zone of
mangroves, introducing in motor boats, the route is by a network of channels only known by the fishermen of the zone, bordered
by a dense vegetation and inhabited by a great variety of smaller species being able to get to be observed crocodiles in some
parts, as well as diverse types of birds and water serpents. A good place for the lovers of the nature and the photography,
the photos that can be obtained here are unique. After the stroll by marshes, one enjoyed the beach of Casitas (Small houses) of smooth sand
and covered of vegetation, eating in some of the restaurants of the site.

EXCURSION 11. - ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE OF "EL TAJIN" And CIENEGA or MANGROVES
And BEACH
OF CASITAS.
Description: Visit to the archaeological zone of "El Tajin" which is the most important
pre-Hispanic city of the state of Veracruz and northeast of Mexico, whose maximum splendor occurred between years 800 and
1200 d. C., it has an extraordinary architecture that reaches its climax with the Pyramid of the Niches, counts with 17 games
of ball and museum of site, in addition to the permanent show of the “voladores” (Flyers) of Papantla. After this
cultural visit the excursion is combined with the 9 or the 10 with the activities described.
