EXCURSION 12. - ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE OF "CANTONA" And ECOLOGICAL RESERVE OF "PANCHO
POZA" Or CASCADE OF TOMATA.
Description: Visit to the
archaeological zone of "Cantona" in the border of the States of Puebla and Veracruz; this is the pre-Hispanic city considered
like the greater city-planning development of the Old Mexico, whose maximum splendor occurred between years 1000 and 1300
d. C., has a very particular architecture, totally asymmetric, following the topography of the land in which it was seated,
counts on an endless number of streets and avenues that communicate the city totally, as much the housing zones conformed
by districts, like with the civic and religious buildings; it also counts with 23 games of ball. It has the characteristic
that in the construction of its buildings was not used any type of cementant, which is to admire, mainly by the height which
reach the main pyramids. The surroundings are very interesting, covered by a dissemble vegetation that goes from the presence
of cochineal (nopales) to conifers, predominating a type of very special yucca. From this archaeological zone that breaks
all the known pre-Hispanic architectonic schemes, you can see a beautiful view of the volcano “Pico de Orizaba”.
After this cultural visit, the excursion is combined with the 1 or the 2 with the activities described.

EXCURSION 13. - SITE WITH THERMAL WATERS.
Description: Visit to an exceptional site in where the characteristic vegetation of this zone of the State of Veracruz
with a small river into of a narrow passage makes a wonderful environment where the thermal waters arise to take a relaxing
bath with medicinal properties; the excursion begins very early from the camp, with a 30% by paved way and the rest by one
rough way with beautiful and diverse views, crossing farms, leaving the vehicle in one of these. From here, we will make a
long walk of approximately one hour until a point in which the slope of a pronounced hill with dense vegetation and beautiful
landscapes began. When the site of the thermal waters is reached, the natural beauty compensates the made effort.

EXCURSION 14. – RAFTING, SECTION “ENCANTO – PALMILLA” .
Description: Begins with a visit to the Cascade "El Encanto" (The
Charm) with 40 mts. of height, called "The Cathedral of the Nature", is one of the main and beautiful sites in the region
with a spectacular canyon with walls of about 150 mts. of height and only 4 meters wide in the more narrow part, to which
enters rowing against-current, here is possible swim in the puddle of the cascade; during the rafting you can swim in backwaters,
nailed in natural puddle, look water births (springs), take a face treatment with mineral mud, exciting rapids with greater
water level when joining the rivers Bobos and Alseseca.

EXCURSION 15. – RAFTING, SECTION “ALTO FILO – EL FILO”.
Description:
It is in the high part of the river Bobos with greater slope, throughout a canyon with extraordinary and beautiful landscapes,
nailed natural puddles, one water birth (spring) in a cracked limestone rock appearing directly from the rock with 10 meters
height and 3 meters wide; interesting geologic changes
of limestones to basalts, face mud treatments, visit to the underground river with an impressive grotto with stalactites and
stalagmites.

EXCURSION 16. – RAFTING, SECTION “FILO – ENCANTO”.
Description:
Start up from the bridge of “El Filo” in the intermediate part of the river Bobos, until the plain of “El
Encanto”, place in which is the Campamento Ecoturístico Rio Filobobos. Several activities during the descent (visit
to an area of fossils incrusted in flagstones of calcareous rock, toboggan and puddle for nailed, swimming in backwaters areas,
beautiful landscapes, facial treatment of mud, visit to one of the places of the archaeological group of Filobobos, ceremonial
center called "The Ruins of the Old Ones". approximate Duration of the descent 6 hrs (10kms.)
note: It is only made during the season of rains (june to October).
